SPUNBOND

Spunbond filters are made of 100% polyester media. The use of polyester material instead of cellulose makes spunbond filters sturdier than other types of filters. This also makes this media better suited for moist or humid environments. Our spunbond media is a MERV 12.

This heavier media typically requires increased pleat spacing, which reduces the total square footage each filter can contain.

Spunbond filters may come with a few different coatings for different applications.

  • Spunbond HO – This media is treated with a hydro-oleophobic treatment to make it resistant to oil and moisture.
  • Spunbond PTFE – A PTFE membrane provides an outer laminate that increases filter efficiency to a MERV 16. This media is typically used for applications in need of extremely high filtration efficiencies.

Spunbond media is a great choice for:

  • Cardboard
  • Cement
  • Paper
  • Rubber
  • Powder Coating
